posted 25 July 2007 00:11 EDT (US) Is it safe to assume that the reforms take place in 107 BC as they did in history? It's 160 BC and It's been a tough time charging archers in Asia Minor with no troops designed to do it. | |

I think the requirements for the reforms to happen are the same as in vanilla RTW. A wise man speaks because he has something to say; a fool because he has to say something. -Plato |

posted 26 July 2007 09:43 EDT (US) 3 / 6 Do you have a huge city? If not, train some peasant armies around your lands, send them to your biggest city and disband them. That's a 'cheap' way of triggering the reforms. A wise man speaks because he has something to say; a fool because he has to say something. -Plato |

LagBroWJ Legionary | posted 26 July 2007 20:20 EDT (US) 5 / 6 You need 3 Imperial paaces to have marian reforms in RTR. I got mine early in the game Usually 240Bc-210 BC |
posted 26 July 2007 22:13 EDT (US) 6 / 6 It looks like I was missing an Imperial Palace! Thanks for the help there. Was about 30 minutes from reinstalling to make sure I had everything. |
